These are 2 Actresses from Andy Warhol movies. I went to a really big Andy Warhol retrospective at the Stelijk museum CS. It had 80 or so movies and videos projected onto big white walls. A lot of the films were just 15 or 20 minutes of a single persons face talking or staring . Like a video potrait. I had my sketchbook with me and drew some of the faces.... these were the only ones i liked

okay, great. let me know when it's going i'd be interested.

They did an andy w. exhibit at the contemporary here in st. louis about a year ago. I wasn't that impressed, but I think it was the museum's fault. seeing it in person there didn't do a lot for me. It was mostly obscure works though, which was kind of neat. I can see campbell's soup anywhere.

The show i saw in A'dam had all the major works, and most of his major film works. It had walls of his poloroids, and original screenprints of the mao, marilyn, elvis. There were original ink drawings From his career as a freelance illustrator in the 1950's. It was a major retrospective that collected all of his periods and It was pretty awesome in my opinion.
